JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News is looking for a creative, organized, motivated, curious individual with strong editorial and logistical skills to be a Field Producer for My View with Lara Trump. The Field Producer will work with a team of bookers and producers to set up interviews, build graphics, and deliver compelling interviews and packages for the weekly program.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pitch unique feature stories

• Be read-in and remain updated with current events and topics of interest

• Work with bookers, producers, and talent to conduct pre-interviews, book travel, etc to produce compelling and informative packages

• Work with production crews (camera, sound, lighting) to ensure the best visuals for field shoots 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

• 5 years of experience as a field producer

• Experience with producing news packages

• Strong logistical and editorial skills with knowledge of national and international stories

• Keen understanding of how to set up interviews

• Ability to be a self-starter who can work independently, as well as a team player

• Familiarity with iNews is a plus

• Must be flexible with your schedule and willing to work both weekdays and weekends

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $84,500.00-90,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
