We are seeking a highly organized and driven Field Marketing Specialist with 3+ years of experience in planning, executing, and optimizing in-person events within the B2B software industry. This role will play a critical part in building pipeline and strengthening relationships with business leaders, executives, and decision makers across our target markets.The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and brings creativity and precision to every stage of event planning and execution.
Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute field marketing events (executive roundtables, thought leadership dinners, regional summits, tradeshows, partner events, etc.) aligned to go-to-market priorities.
Partner with sales, demand generation, and partner marketing teams to ensure events drive meaningful engagement, pipeline impact, and relationship-building with key accounts.
Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, contracts, budgeting, production, onsite execution, project management (in Asana) and campaign set up (Marketo and Salesforce).
Collaborate with product marketing and content teams to ensure messaging and programming resonate with target audiences.
Track, measure, and report on event performance, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Maintain and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and value delivery.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices to elevate the overall event experience.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience planning and executing in-person B2B marketing events, preferably in the enterprise software/SaaS space.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality events for executive-level audiences (Senior Managers, Department Leads, VPs, C-suite, GCs).
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience partnering with sales and marketing to align event strategy with business objectives.
Proficiency with marketing and event platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, or similar).
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).
Located in Chicagoland area to commute to the office twice a week.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
$65,000 and $97,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
