As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will travel and showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines.

You will offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.

The role involves routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.

You will serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.

The position requires diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.

You will document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
This is a field-based role that requires daily travel and up to 25% overnight travel. Our ideal candidate would reside within 25 miles of Nashville, TN.
Who You Are:

High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required.

5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience will suffice.

Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.

The ability to travel, including overnight travel, is a requirement for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:

8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are required.

Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.

The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tennessee is $66,200 and $123,000 Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
