Provide software and engineering support to the E-3 DRAGON Training System Support Center (TSSC) located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in design, planning, installation, and support of computer systems, network hardware, software applications, and peripherals
Performs setup at desktop and server level – installing, upgrading, implementing and configuring operating systems, applications, software, and hardware
Installs patches and upgrades to production platforms
Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including hardware and software, network and peripheral equipment.
Exercises responsibility for the integrity, security, and maintenance of the systems
Manage system security requirements
Perform system security testing
Must exhibit high performance and capability to work in a team environment
Must be able to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customers
Must be capable of explaining and instructing technical data in non-technical terms
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to work overtime as required
Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required
Qualifications
Experience with hardware/software platforms to include MS Windows and RedHat
Experience in Microsoft Suite Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word)
Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.)
Experience supporting a network/platform of multiple client systems (Windows, Linux, VMware)
Experience supporting Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, DFS, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
Endpoint management/reporting using Enterprise Antivirus Management server technologies
Ability to manage multiple tasks, while effectively focusing on priority issues
Ability to create, document, and follow processes and procedures
Experience working in a secured classified environment
Educational / Experience Requirements
Completed at least one of the following: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or received other equivalent training/experience
3 – 5+ years of related experience
Experience with training and simulation systems preferred
Experience with programming languages (C++, Python)/scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and programming best practices preferred
Experience with proper software testing practices preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Possess the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to climb stairs to enter and exit a training device.
Capable of working in a manufacturing environment
Able to ascend into a simulator device
Able to climb onto simulator device hard-to-reach areas
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
Focused visual concentration and active listening skills
Able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 pounds and manual dexterity to bend, stoop, squat and stand for prolonged periods
Will occasionally have to move items over 50 pounds with assistance
Must be able to sit and operate a personal computer for long periods
Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities at multiple training sites
Limited travel may be required
