Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The selected Applications Engineer will join a dynamic team that makes a significant impact to the company every day.
Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA’s state-of-the-art products in customer fabrication facilities. This includes investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions at our customer’s facilities.
Makes presentations on all aspects of products to KLA management and customer management.
Assists sales manager in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer technical requirements and preparing detailed product specifications
Provides follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applications
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialists
The candidate will gain exposure to Product Marketing, Business & Sales Processes and undergo rigorous training on KLA’s most advanced equipment.
The candidate will be required to travel to Singapore to support customers (at least 50%-80% of time). There could also be opportunities to travel and work at various KLA’s world-wide facilities and Headquarters based in Silicon Valley, USA.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must have Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields.
