Job Description:

The FAE will provide technical support for customers and to the broader Sales and FAE team.  The FAE will assist in developing opportunities incorporating MPS products and follow those through to production solutions. The FAE identifies and shares current and emerging customer technical needs to improve MPS product positioning and guide new product development.

Essential Functions:

  • Contribute to MPS US Revenue growth through direct and in-direct technical activities.
  • Learn MPS power products and technology and present to customers.
  • Engage with customers to understand their system power requirements.
  • Provide technical support to match customer’s requirements with MPS solutions.
  • Build technical relationships with engineering community.
  • Dynamic work environment where collaboration with engineers internally and externally will involve technical activities like

    Building power proposals to answer customers’ requirements

    Modifying and testing MPS EVBs to acquire preliminary data according to customers’ specs

    Reviewing schematic and layout of MPS power solutions to ensure best practices for the devices are implemented

    Powering up first prototypes with customers and assisting with characterization of MPS devices in the system

    Debugging, as needed, to further optimize customers’ MPS power designs

 Qualifications:

  • Oral /written proficiency in English 
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
  • BSEE or higher 
  • Must be open to relocate to another territory

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $105,000- $110000.
