Job Description
This role will lead and provide guidance and direction to an assigned team of Corporate Trust Associate Relationship Managers and/or Relationship Managers. This role will also work closely with senior leaders in the business to ensure consistent and superior customer service.
- Resolve ALL administrative issues and provide support to any level client staff
- Provide guidance to junior staff
- Operate with Relationship Managers to service the largest clients and resolve the most complex issues
- Provides day-to-day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing for administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating bond closing, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities and compliance items, providing debt service calculations, executing payment generation and follow-up
- Provide feedback to Sales to assist with pricing business based on account structure compared to existing business.
- Responsible for accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems, preparing accounts for compliance review and responding appropriately to compliance exceptions
- Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate
- Participate in cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles and provide support, as needed
- Interview hire and train new team members with support from upper management and team members that change roles and responsibilities in the group.
- Track workload for the team and make adjustments to account assignments or coordinate team help during spikes and special projects
- Lead one on one and team meetings with direct reports
- Coordinate guidelines and procedures to review and discuss in team meetings
- Research and develop efficiencies for systems and processes
- Serve as a subject matter expert as a representative for the SCT group for projects, and system enhancements and testing.
- Gather information and ensure teams are consistent in work product.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrates successful networking skills with relationship management and other senior leaders and the ability to establish a network of strategic contacts
- Demonstrates the ability to drive and implement change through business planning
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Ability to oversee team requirements as directed by trust accounts to ensure deadlines are met
- Demonstrates a proven track record of managing a team by meeting or exceeding expectations
Requirements:
MINIMUM:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7 or more years relevant experience
PREFERRED:
- Master's Degree
- Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) or Corporate Trust Master Certification (CTMC)
Supervision/Management:
Supervise a team of administrative staff and/or support staff including hiring, performance management and ensure accurate and successful performance of duties.

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:
$83,810 - $131,550US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:
$76,520 - $120,210US Employees in all other states not listed above:
