The Job/What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a Fee Accommodation Analyst to support the accurate and timely review, approval coordination, implementation, and monitoring of sales fee accommodations. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Fee Accommodation Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and tracking sales fee accommodation requests. This role will validate request details, coordinate with business partners to resolve questions or discrepancies, and support the timely implementation of approved fee arrangements. The Fee Accommodation Analyst will also maintain accurate records, monitor outstanding requests, provide regular status updates, and identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, documentation, and overall operational efficiency.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are located near one of our offices in Concord, CA or Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, review and implement sales fee accommodation requests in accordance with established procedures and service-level expectations
  • Investigate fee accommodation-related inquiries, discrepancies, and exceptions, and escalate material risks as appropriate
  • Review account data, fee schedules, approvals, and supporting documentation to validate accommodation terms
  • Monitor and reconcile active fee accommodations to identify inaccurate, missing, expired, or inconsistent applications
  • Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing accommodation volumes, financial impact, trends, exceptions, and outstanding items
  • Maintain documentation and supporting evidence for request reviews, required approvals, implementation, and control execution
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Product, Finance, Operations, and other teams to resolve issues and clarify requirements
  • Assess the impact of product, pricing, system, and process changes on fee accommodations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and introduce automation
  • Analyze recurring accommodation trends to identify potential pricing, policy, or process improvements
  • Participate in new Platform Revenue initiatives and evaluate impacts to existing billing processes
  • Develop working knowledge across Platform Revenue processes and provide cross-functional or backup support as needed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to review data, identify variances, research exceptions, and clearly document conclusions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings, decisions, and required actions
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes and follow established procedures and controls
  • Strong customer focus and sound judgment in identifying what is in the best interest of the client and the firm

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in financial services, billing, operations, accounting, data analysis, or a related field preferred

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $80,000-$90,000 for Concord and $75,000-$85,000 for Charlotte.

 

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
