Federal Work Study (FWS) employees are active students who are awarded a fixed amount of maximum earnings over a specific time period as part of the student’s financial aid award package. A portion of each student’s earned hourly wage will be paid by federal funds, provided that the hours worked are properly documented and the FWS employee’s time record is certified and signed by the FWS employee’s supervisor. Generally, the student employees work up to 25 hours per week in student service and community service positions. Eligible and approved FWS employment positions may be on campus or off campus in approved non-profit community service organizations
Preferred QualificationsMust be enrolled and attending an eligible program.
· Must have been awarded FWS.
· Good organizational and communication skills.
· Prior working knowledge of basic computer operation is desirable.
