About the Role

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of displaying exceptional skills and ambition to join our team as a P3 Federal Enterprise & Identity Engineer within our Enterprise Identity organization focusing on solution support, planning, and oversight. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class organization that is at the forefront of providing secure identity solutions to the entire Workday organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support design of scalable, secure, and standards-compliant Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) programs aligned with federal cybersecurity mandates such as NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles.
• Partner to develop and maintain enterprise identity and security architecture roadmaps, aligning technical design with Zero Trust initiatives and federal mission objectives.
• Assist with the architecture and modeling of RBAC, PBAC, IGA, and PAM frameworks across federal systems, ensuring appropriate entitlements, separation of duties, and policy enforcement mechanisms.
• Participate in architectural discussions and working groups, ensuring proposed enterprise & identity solutions meet security standards, technical requirements, and compliance objectives.
• Knowledge of scalable enterprise identity architectures, including AuthN (authentication), AuthZ (authorization), MFA, and lifecycle management technologies for secure access across federal systems and cloud environments.

• • Partner with non-federal Enterprise security and identity product management and architecture to ensure alignment of process, technologies, and architecture within the federal space.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is required.
• 5+ years of experience in identity and access management, enterprise security, or cybersecurity engineering roles.
• 1+ year of experience in an architecture or design capacity, preferably in a federal or regulated enterprise environment.

Other Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Proven experience designing or architecting solutions aligned with federal cybersecurity frameworks for Enterprise (IT) and Identity
• General knowledge of ICAM architecture, including identity lifecycle, credentialing, and access enforcement across cloud environments.
• Understanding of identity federation and authentication protocols such as SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0
• Knowledge of IAM platforms such as LDAP, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or similar.
• Knowledge of Corporate/IT systems and their use within designed systems for use within Federal environments and ensuring alignment with non-federal architectures.
• General understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), including federal guidance from CISA, NIST 800-207, and the Zero Trust Maturity Model.
• Ability to assist in producing architectural artifacts such as system diagrams, data flow models, and control mappings.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $130,200 USD - $195,300 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $207,600 USD
