Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and driven Federal Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the success of full-life cycle engagements with government customers, including key agencies within the department of defense. You will leverage your deep understanding of the federal marketplace to promote and sell Authentic8’s Silo for Research and other solutions, ensuring that our clients can conduct their operations securely and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to achieve sales goals for assigned federal accounts.
  • Lead and manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through closing and ongoing account management.
  • Collaborate effectively with CSAMS, SDRs, inside sales, sales engineers, and executive leadership to optimize the sales process and drive revenue.
  • Maintain timely and accurate management of pipeline and forecast.
  • Utilize knowledge of the government marketplace to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within government agencies, particularly within the intelligence community.
  • Travel is required, approximately once a month

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling into federal government accounts, with a strong focus on the DoD.
  • At least 5 years of SaaS sales experience, particularly within IT security.
  • Proven track record in selling enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with agencies such as the Army, DOD, US Air Force, or US Navy/Marine Corps.
  • Self-motivated, honest, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
