Job Overview
We are seeking a Feature list & Roadmap Engineer who will support the definition and management of the full-vehicle feature list across all engineering domains. This role assists in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure feature alignment, technical feasibility, cost awareness, and timely freeze milestones throughout the vehicle development lifecycle (Concept to SOP). This position works closely with multiple stakeholders: Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing and Program Management teams to maximize outcome for business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering teams to define sets of Feature List & breakpoints for company products in line with the Roadmap and strategy of the company, given the technical feasibility, dependencies, risks, and implementation timelines
- Coordinate with Homologation and Marketing departments to ensure Mandatory Features and Feature List's competitiveness
- Manage and track vehicle feature development & changes during product development across multiple vehicle programs and model years
- Analyze market trends, customer expectations, competitor benchmarks, and regulatory requirements to support feature strategy
- Develop request for relevant systems for maintaining roadmap and feature data and control the quality & performance of such systems as JIRA, Teamcenter, or equivalent PLM tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in automotive engineering, system integration, or product planning (internship experience acceptable)
- Good technical understanding of automotive industry (at least 1 module prefered: Powertrain, Chassis, Electrical….)
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English for technical coordination.
- Basic understanding of vehicle development process and product lifecycle management
- Experience in using project management/ product development/ product life cycle management tool such as JIRA, Team Center (preferred)
- Experience in OEM, Tier-1 supplier, or automotive technology companies (preferred)
