About SD Worx

SD Worx is a leading European provider of Payroll & HR services with global reach. Our people solutions cover the employee journey, from payroll to attracting, rewarding and developing talent.

About the role

We are looking for a Feature Lead for the SD Worx SPARC Platform within the Transversal Assets Tribe. The scope includes transversal solutions such as mysdworx and SD Connect for international and domestic customers. The Feature Lead works with Product Owners, the Domain Architect, the Product Manager Connectivity and stakeholders across Technology, markets and business functions, including paycos and consultants.

The Feature Lead is accountable for the coherent outcome of features and integrations from shaping and prioritization through development, validation, go-live, adoption, industrialization and business as usual. Accountability remains with the Feature Lead when delivery is distributed across teams, applications or business areas.

Leadership is based on expertise, clarity and influence rather than hierarchy. Specialists remain responsible for execution and quality within their disciplines. The Feature Lead connects their contributions, challenges assumptions and prevents local optimization from weakening the overall customer and product outcome.

Key accountabilities

Own the end-to-end outcome

  • Be accountable for the coherence, quality and readiness of the complete feature or integration scenario across teams, components and markets.

  • Translate product direction, customer needs and stakeholder input into a clear outcome, scope, success measures and delivery approach.

  • Maintain oversight of user experience, functional behavior, technology, integrations, data flows and operational readiness as one solution.

Drive decisions and delivery

  • Create clarity on priorities, trade-offs, assumptions, dependencies and decision rights.

  • Make decisions within the agreed mandate and prepare timely recommendations when approval sits elsewhere.

  • Manage cross-team dependencies, challenge stakeholders constructively and escalate material conflicts through the appropriate governance route.

Ensure quality and readiness

  • Ensure clear acceptance criteria, an appropriate Definition of Done and validation of the complete end-to-end flow.

  • Guard that functional, technical, implementation, support and user documentation is complete and current.

  • Make defects, workarounds, manual activities and risks visible; do not present a feature as ready without sufficient evidence of quality, operability and scalability.

Lead pilots and industrialization

  • Drive pilot readiness with implementation and business teams, and contribute to go-live checkpoints, warranty follow-up and lessons learned.

  • Turn pilot learning into prioritized product, process and documentation improvements.

  • Reduce workarounds before scaling and ensure a controlled transition into business as usual.

Drive market and organisational readiness

  • Guide markets and segments introducing or expanding SPARC Platform capabilities for international and domestic customers.

  • Coordinate readiness across product, integration, implementation, support, sales, marketing and other relevant functions.

  • Provide transparent readiness information for pilot, go-live, scale-up and start-sell decisions.

Grow adoption and shape the roadmap

  • Monitor usage, feedback, quality and value across markets and connected applications, and initiate corrective action where needed.

  • Guard a coherent experience across mysdworx, SD Connect and connected applications.

  • Help shape the SPARC Platform vision and guard roadmap execution using evidence from markets, customers and connected applications.

Expectations, experience and knowledge

  • At least five years of experience in product, feature, platform or comparable roles for customer-facing digital solutions.

  • Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end outcomes across multiple teams, components or applications.

  • Experience with integration or platform challenges, complex dependencies, pilots, go-live readiness and scaling.

  • Sound understanding of acceptance criteria, testing, documentation, risk management and operational readiness.

  • Ability to work across UX, functional and technical topics without needing to be the deepest specialist in each area.

  • Ability to translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear outcomes, priorities and decisions.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international matrix organization.

  • Experience in an Agile environment and confident spoken and written English.

Additional skills

An existing SD Worx Technology network, or the ability to build one quickly, is useful. Additional languages such as Dutch, French or German are an advantage in the international context.
