FEA Engineer

• Perform detailed analysis including FEA on FFL product lines to our internal standards and rigorous industry and customer requirements.
• Highly competent in the preparation and presenting FEA results including authoring of FEA technical reports.
• Performs engineering tasks using FFL / Industry standards.
• Capability to produce 3D CAD Models and Technical Drawings.
• Creation of Part Numbers / Bill of Materials to ensure all technical requirements are met (FFL MRP system - SAP).
• Complete Technical Review for various Customer Orders / Enquiries.
• Provide Technical analytical support to internal and external customers.
• Application of relevant industry codes including ASME, API, Norsok and DNV.
• Has conceptual knowledge of fundamental engineering theories, principles and practices.
• Able to mentor and teach other team members.  Provide guidance to the engineering team on a day-to-day basis.
• Contributes to the development of the innovative products and processes.
• Broadens capabilities and continues to build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers

• 5+ years engineering experience. Ideally FEA in high temperature, high pressure applications preferably in Oil & Gas, Nuclear industries but not essential.  
• BEng or BSc required. Meng or MSc preferred.
• Experience of Abaqus / Ansys software products essential.
• Working knowledge of standards (ASME VIII, ASME B31.3, API, Norsok and DNV) an advantage but not essential.
• High analytical abilities.
• Strong CAD abilities.
• Experience of cradle to grave product design experience.
