The Role
Job Details:Job Description: FC layout team manager in BE integration CDG team, the job includes mange team of 18 people, with 2 FLMs , join BE integration staff .
the team is responsible for execution of all CDG SOC client projects for the following domains: FC layout routing and signoff, base die and die file work , analog, ESD , PDN routing and simulations.
the role includes technical coaching for the leaders in the team, TFM development plans and tracking, and EXE leadership for the teams tasks.
it involved close work with other teams like FCT, clocks, DAs, and SD.Qualifications:
Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years experience in semiconductor/IC design, with knowledge in full chip layout
- Deep understanding of SOC design flows, physical implementation, and backend integration
- Experience with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor) and layout methodologies
- Knowledge of advanced process nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm)
- Understanding of timing closure, power optimization, and design rule checking
Management Experience:
- 5+ years people management experience, preferably managing managers
- Experience leading teams of 15-25 engineers
- Proven track record of developing first-line managers and technical talent
Leadership Skills:
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Design Automation, System Design, Timing, and Frontend teams
- Experience defining Tool Flow Methodologies (TFM)
- Project management skills for multiple concurrent SOC client projects
- Ability to drive technical decisions and resolve complex integration issues
Business Acumen:
- Client engagement and stakeholder management experience
- Strategic thinking for team growth and technology roadmaps
