Position Summary
Provides day-to-day G-3/5/7 staff integration, operational synchronization, task management, strategic-engagement support, and leadership reporting. This position consolidates division activities into accurate, decision-ready products and helps translate command guidance into coordinated actions, orders, taskers, and events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and synchronize weekly and monthly integration briefings, SITREPs, running estimates, staff updates, and 30/60/90-day outlook products.
- Collect, validate, and consolidate subordinate-division inputs; identify conflicts, gaps, overdue actions, and decision points for G-3/5/7 leadership.
- Draft, staff, and track OPORDs, FRAGOs, EXORD responses, task-management entries, memoranda, and other operational products.
- Support strategic-engagement planning, command events, workshops, Army Innovation Forum activities, and other HQDA/T2COM/FCC-directed initiatives.
- Maintain MS Teams, Planner, ETMS2 or equivalent collaboration and task-tracking tools, digital repositories, distribution lists, and access-control rosters.
- Coordinate with FCC staff, subordinate organizations, T2COM, HQDA, and external stakeholders to resolve tasking, classification, resource, and schedule issues.
- Provide action-officer support during meetings and events, capture decisions and actions, and maintain records through closure.
- 6+ years of Army, Joint, command-staff, plans, operations, or executive-action-officer experience.
- Demonstrated experience preparing SITREPs, briefings, orders, taskers, and senior-leader decision-support products.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent actions, short suspense requirements, and cross-organizational coordination with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Planner, PowerPoint, Word, and collaborative task-management environments.
- Former Army plans/operations officer, NCO, civilian action officer, executive officer, or command-group staff member.
- Experience with ETMS2, HQDA/T2COM tasking processes, Army orders production, and command integration meetings.
- Knowledge of experimentation, concepts, Campaign of Learning, or Army modernization organizations.
Decision-support briefings; analyses and assessments; meeting notes and executive summaries; staffing comments and comment-resolution inputs; plans, trackers, status updates, and recurring CDRL/monthly-report contributions appropriate to the assigned PWS task.
