We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented SAP PaPM Finance Analyst to join our regional Finance and Performance Management team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex financial logic and advanced data technology. You will design, build, and maintain allocation models, profitability simulations, and transfer pricing frameworks within SAP PaPM. The ideal candidate possesses deep financial acumen (FP&A, costing, tax) combined with hands-on configuration experience in SAP PaPM and HANA-based environments. You will play a vital role in helping our organization optimize profitability, navigate complex regional tax frameworks, and drive strategic decision-making across our Latin American operations.
Responsibilities
Model Design & Configuration
- Configure calculation functions, allocation rules, and formulas within SAP PaPM.
- Create end-to-end profitability, cost allocation, and transfer pricing models.
- Update and optimize drivers, cost pools, and allocation keys based on business changes.
- Validate that PaPM outputs reconcile perfectly with the general ledger and financial statements
.Financial Analysis & Strategy
- Execute "what-if" scenarios, forecasting models, and margin analyses for business units.
- Analyze multi-dimensional profitability data (by product, customer, channel, and region) to find cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in configuring sustainability and carbon footprint modeling within the platform as required.
Data Integration & Reporting
- Partner with SAP HANA Data Engineers to source, map, and clean data from SAP ERP (S/4HANA/ECC) and non-SAP systems.
- Collaborate with BI teams to create executive dashboards and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Fiori.
- Document data lineage, model logic, and system configurations for audit and compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Management Consulting.
- Deep understanding of activity-based costing (ABC), transfer pricing, margin analysis, and IFRS.
- Hands-on experience configuring SAP PaPM (formerly FS-PER) functions (Allocations, Conversions, Derivations, Views).
- Familiarity with S/4HANA Finance, SAP HANA studio, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
