We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer with specialized expertise in Microsoft Teams to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, support and optimization of our Microsoft 365 environment with a particular focus on MS Teams configuration, and support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration, communication, and productivity across the organization through effective MS Teams implementation and management.
Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Environment Management
- Configure, maintain and support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams
- Understanding and support of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, APP registration and conditional access policies
- Understanding of Microsoft Purview and working with security and compliance team to better security posture
- Perform regular health assessments of the Microsoft 365 environment and implement remediation plans
MS Teams Specific Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, and management of Microsoft Teams throughout the organization
- Development and configuration of Microsoft Copilot agents within Microsoft Teams and Copilot studio
- Troubleshoot Teams-related issues including connectivity problems, AV quality issues, and integration challenges
- Analyze Teams usage logs and call quality data to identify and resolve performance issues
- Manage and deploy Teams applications, bots, and connectors from the Teams app store and custom solutions
- Understanding of Teams 3rd party technologies such as ECD and QoS
Automation and Development
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating Microsoft 365 and Teams management tasks
- Work with Microsoft Graph API to create custom integrations and solutions
Support and Training
- Provide third-level support for complex Microsoft 365 and Teams issues
- Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on Teams features and best practices
- Collaborate with service desk teams to develop effective troubleshooting procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 services
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Teams deployment, configuration, and management
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 identity management with Azure Active Directory
- Experience with Teams audio/video setup, troubleshooting, and quality assessment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API for Teams customization and integration
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for Microsoft 365 and Teams management
- Experience with Power Automate for creating workflow automations within Teams
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
