What You’ll Do- Develop moderately complex, value-based analytics solutions to support quality, business functionality, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Create clear, detailed documentation and business plans addressing stakeholder needs.
- Act as a liaison between IT and Product Management for data solutions.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide data integration strategies using data marts and data warehouse applications.
- Continuously improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide guidance on UAT, technical specifications, strategic planning, and training, with limited supervision.
- Apply an intermediate understanding of financial services data, structures, and cloud-based storage to ensure compliance while supporting business needs.
- Manage data from multiple sources and complete moderately complex projects using strong project management skills.
- Ensure data quality, troubleshoot issues, and design creative solutions to prevent or mitigate future problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar).
- Background in insurance or financial services.
- Experience creating data visualizations using Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in Python for analytics and data modeling.
- Skilled in ad hoc analysis, data modeling, and applying machine learning techniques.
- Proficient in SQL and complex queries.
- Experience with scripting tools and languages (e.g., batch files, VBA for Excel).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on moderately complex projects.
