Job Summary: Countries - South Africa, ESA, WA.
Responsible for managing a profitable, complete, healthy and clear F&B Chemicals product portfolio. Starting with the commercialization process, to introduce SKU’s and ending with the deletion of SKU’s at the end of the life cycle of the product. During the life cycle the development of the margin is very important, as is a proper planning and forecasting is important to avoid obsoletes and write-offs. The local / regional portfolio lead could indicate white spots in the portfolio for the countries potentially instigating Innovation projects if the business case is right. Work in parallel with the global F&B MarCom and F&B Sector Marketing, plan & implement the local marketing activities & sector strategies.
Key Tasks:
- Works in close collaboration with the business to prioritize business requirements, support innovations, sector value preposition activities and focus on the business growth.
- Responsible for the portfolio harmonization. Helps to define the most profitable mix to support margin improvement for the countries.
- Leads new product/system innovation launching and post-launching activities in the countries.
- Work in close with the pricing team and the business and support the pricing process, identify the opportunities for gross profit improvements.
- Supports preparing local pricing deck for the business.
- Work in close contact with supply chain planners and customer service in the countries to ensure proper forecasting/planning and stock/inventory levels to prevent obsoletes impacting P&L.
- Works in close contact with the regulatory to support the registration process.
- Works with the sales team in preparing bids, tenders and big deals choosing the right products.
- Plans and implement the local market activities (media plans, internal/external events, congress, sponsorships, associations etc)
- Support global customer webinars and implement in local language if needed.
