THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Fashion Expert in the Zalando eCommerce Platform Sciences team who drives Personalisation, Recommendations, Search, Browse, Analytics, and Research, you will be bridging the gap between fashion and technology with your expertise. You will focus on helping to deliver on the customer promise of a tailored experience on Zalando which enables customers to discover fashion products for their individual needs. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Markets, and Analytics partners, you will help define, build, and deliver state-of-the-art experiences like the Zalando Trend Spotter or the Zalando Fashion Assistant powered by chatGPT, that revolutionise the discovery process for fashion.

Maintain consistent quality of our products in collaboration with your team and key stakeholders.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You have a degree in Fashion or Clothing Technology and work experience (at least 3 years) in fashion from working in e-commerce, (online) styling, or clothing technology.

You have a deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics, coupled with familiarity with fashion terminology, styles, fits, and brands.

You have a strong customer orientation and are able to work in a fast-paced environment.

You are enthusiastic about data-driven solutions and eager to explore innovative methodologies and techniques.

You are a great communicator with excellent knowledge in English (German is a plus).

Plus but not a must: Experience with databases and SQL for data (querying and) manipulation and/ or Experiences with JIRA
