Job Description

The Fashion Coordinator program offers a formative journey ( with an employment contract) within the Fashion Design departments of Max Mara Fashion Group.

It is designed to provide practical knowledge of the dynamics related to the creative coordination of our collections.

Through a job rotation system, you will experience the different phases of the collection creation cycle, developing
specific skills in areas such as:

  • Collection Design: How a creative idea comes to life, what entities are involved in the design activities of a collection.
  • Collection Coordination: How to design a balanced and innovative collection in line with the needs of the target consumer.
  • Textile / Raw Materials: Knowledge of fabrics/yarns/accessories.
  • Technical Design: Interpretation of the stylistic idea, garment construction and wearability.
  • Design: How an idea comes to life through effective collaboration with creatives.

You will be involved in concrete projects, developing technical and coordination skills,
acquiring a complete overview of the process of creating a collection in the Fashion sector.
You will be supported by tutors and participate in training sessions to enhance your skills
and understanding of the concepts of Quality and Excellence of Max Mara Fashion Group.

Qualifications

If you have...

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Fashion Design / Textile/ Fashion Technology

 

  • Interest in Fashion, Design, raw materials and Collection development
  • Sensitivity towards fashion that reflects real life and the real needs of women.
  • Good knowledge of the English language (level B2).
  • Creativity and organizational skills, attention to detail and interest in learning.
  • Ability to work in team.
  • Previous professional experience of a maximum of 2 years.

  • Developing a sensitive approach to coordinating a clothing, knitwear, or accessories collection, from creative research to the completed collection.
  • Collaborating side by side with fashion designers, helping to make their creative realistic ideas, ensuring the completeness of the collection.
  • Connecting the creativity of the design office while respecting company times and processes.
