Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Maintain and organize the fashion closet, ensuring all samples are accurately logged, stored, and returned on schedule.
- Manage incoming and outgoing fashion sample shipments, messenger deliveries, and returns while maintaining detailed inventory records.
- Coordinate sample requests and returns with public relations teams, fashion brands, and showrooms, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Support fashion editors during photo shoots, market appointments, events, and Fashion Month by preparing garments, accessories, and styling materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure sample accountability and accurate tracking within the department's inventory system.
- Assist with unpacking, steaming, organizing, packing, and transporting fashion samples for editorial shoots and special projects.
- Provide administrative support to the fashion team, including scheduling, calendar management, and expense reporting.
- Research emerging designers, runway trends, and market developments to support editorial initiatives as needed.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
- 1+ year of experience, or prior internship experience, in fashion, editorial, styling, retail, public relations, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with fashion inventory systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move garment racks, sample boxes, and shipments as needed.
- Passion for luxury fashion, runway collections, and editorial storytelling.
- Ability to work in our New York City office four days per week.
The base pay for this role is $18.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
