The role requires sound independent judgment, basic mathematics, and efficient, cost-conscious decision-making. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are preferred but not required.

- Efficiently optimize the growing and care of all grass varieties with all available tools.
- Efficiently harvest sod to ensure timely deliveries with minimal waste.
- Maintain all equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain an optimum employee staff to perform all aspects of farming operation through hiring, training, and motivation.
- Report all pertinent information to the Regional Manager and Corporate Office.
- Keep up to date records and reports for company use.

- Be sure weekly safety training is performed to minimize work related accidents.
