THE POSITION
Reporting organisationally to the Head of Brand, Marketing and Promotions and the Senior Digital Marketing Manager (FIFA27), the Fan Information Manager will be a key member of the FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil 2027™ Digital Marketing team and will work in close collaboration cross-functional teams across different Functional Areas to deliver accurate, timely and engaging fan information across FIFA's owned digital ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning, delivery and continuous evolution of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ Fan Information programme, ensuring accurate and timely operational information is available across all Host Cities and tournament venues.
- Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle for fan-facing information across FIFA.com, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™ App, CRM email campaigns, chatbots, FAQs and other owned digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain governance, editorial standards, publishing workflows and approval processes for multilingual fan information across all digital channels.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the centralised Information Hub, ensuring it serves as the single source of truth for tournament information.
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale fan communications, including Know Before You Go campaigns, lifecycle CRM journeys and matchday operational messaging.
- Coordinate real-time operational messaging across digital platforms, including WhatsApp, providing timely updates relating to transportation, weather, venue operations, accessibility, security and other tournament information.
- Develop digital fan guides, educational content, FAQs and campaign assets that translate complex operational information into clear and accessible fan experiences.
- Partner closely with Digital Product and Technology teams to enhance publishing workflows and implement new digital capabilities that improve the fan experience.
- Collaborate with Ticketing, Communications, Marketing, Venue Management, Transport, Fan Services, Hospitality, Safety & Security, Host Cities and other tournament stakeholders to ensure operationally accurate and consistent fan communications.
- Drive cross-functional project management across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery against key tournament milestones.
- Lead knowledge management initiatives by documenting processes, improving operational efficiencies and capturing best practices for future FIFA tournaments.
- Monitor fan feedback, digital engagement and operational insights to continuously improve fan information products and communications.
- Ensure close collaboration and content optimisation with colleagues across the wider Digital Marketing team, supporting an integrated fan experience across all FIFA owned-and-operated platforms.

Education & Qualifications
- Related bachelor's degree or a similar level of higher education.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- Experience working within international and cross-cultural environments is advantageous.
Work Experience
- Strong experience in digital content, communications, fan information, digital marketing or a related discipline, preferably within major sporting events or international organisations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience delivering content across websites, mobile applications, CRM platforms and other digital communication channels.
- Strong understanding of digital content management systems, publishing workflows and content governance.
- Experience translating operational information into clear, user-focused digital content.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across operational, technical and marketing teams.
- Proven track of developing and maintaining complex content ecosystems.
