Position Overview
Solen is seeking highly motivated Fall 2026 Interns to support the firm’s sourcing, underwriting, and execution processes. Interns will gain direct exposure to private equity investing in vertical software and will work closely with senior team members on live acquisition opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential acquisition targets in hyper-niche software verticals
- Build and analyze SaaS valuation and operating models in Excel
- Conduct market mapping and industry research
- Assist in underwriting potential investments
- Support diligence and execution efforts on live transactions
- Develop investment memos and presentation materials
We are specifically looking for Juniors or Seniors interested in transitioning into full-time roles upon graduation.
Skills Required
- Currently a college Junior or Senior (Fall 2026)
- Strong Excel skills; build and analyze SaaS valuation and operating models
- Experience conducting market mapping, industry research, and target identification
- Ability to assist in underwriting, diligence, and execution on transactions
- Ability to develop investment memos and presentation materials
- Motivated interest in private equity/M&A and transitioning to a full-time role after graduation
