We are looking for a Fairfax Application Support Analyst for a full-time opportunity that is hybrid in Wilmington, DE. The selected candidate is responsible for end-to-end support of the Fairfax Imaging platform. This role ensures that scanned images, data capture, and workflow processes meet quality, accuracy, and performance standards. This activity would include working with the forms design team and vendors to write specifications for all new forms, push Fairfax releases to both Test and Production environments, coordinating testing cycles with vendors and in-house testing team to ensure forms process through Fairfax to the destination system properly, create and track test and production tickets in vendors ticket systems, provide production support for Fairfax environment including the interface process to the destination system.
What You’ll Do
Provide production support for the Fairfax application and the interface into the destination system
Write detailed specifications for Fairfax for all new forms and annual updates to existing forms
Follow Fairfax release instructions to push all releases to TEST or PROD
Test scanning processes, image quality, and OCR/ICR data extraction
Validate batch creation, indexing, barcodes, and metadata accuracy
Support user acceptance testing and assist technical teams during deployments. This includes running the Fairfax to destination system interface process (JAMS jobs and jobs on Fairfax servers)
Assist with and perform Test Form Data Preparation
Document test cases, track defects, and report issues
Participate in team meetings regularly and attentively
Learn the client’s business applications to support testing activities. Having experience with taxation and tax forms is a must
Professionally communicate issues and collaborate with team members, technical, and business associates
Work directly and effectively with business users and clients in a professional and business-like manner
What You’ll Need
Required:
3 – 5 Years of experience in Fairfax Application Development and Support
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, or related field is required
Experience in Testing Financial business applications, especially Tax Processing Systems like RPE, FAST
Experience with document scanning systems and QA testing
Familiarity with Fairfax Imaging solutions (preferred) or similar capture tools (e.g., Kofax, OnBase)
Detailed understanding of Fairfax database structure and familiarity with tax system database structure
Basic understanding of scanning hardware, OCR, and data capture workflows
Experience with the tools required for supporting the Fairfax application including MS Word, MS Excel, Acrobat Pro, SQL, Fairfax data tools, and Job Scheduling tools
Experience with Windows Server including installation and administration of Windows Services, scheduling of jobs, administration of ODBC connections and other server to server communication
Strong attention to detail and ability to document test results clearly
Collaborates and works with minimal supervision
Proactive, inquisitive, and capable of learning multiple business systems utilized by the department
Has sufficient technical and analysis background to learn use and testing of business/systems processes including Team Foundation Server (TFS) and RT for Fairfax Software
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$95,000 - $105,000 per yearThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
