We are looking for a FAE Manager responsible for a team of Field Application Engineers in the EEM region. A FAE Manager will manage and support the development of the Engineering and Marketing strategy for the region and lead the Engineering Team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Be a member of the EEM Management teams.
  • Be accountable to help drive the EMEA Engineering strategy and ensure this is known, communicated, and implemented in EEM.
  • Deliver regional Demand Creation KPIs
  • Ensure supplier intimacy and performance (focused on agreed suppliers).
  • Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with regional supplier management team.
  • Leverage supplier intimacy to proactively drive: demand creation programs, joint technical-marketing strategy and development of focus customers, lead management activities
  • Own QBR process and manage supplier business plans (as a minimum for FFE suppliers).
  • Manage, coach and develop the FAE team, defining clear goals and objectives and ensuring EMEA strategy is followed.
  • Participate actively in European initiatives when applicable, influencing European Engineering & Marketing strategies.
  • Act as positive spokesperson of EEM both internally and externally.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5 + years of industry experience in distribution of components (microcontrollers, wireless products design, etc.), as an MDE, FAE, Design Engineer, Product Engineer or Electronic Engineer
  • Engineering degree in electronics is preferred
  • You have excellent industry knowledge and a strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • People management experience, including ability to recruit, coach and develop talented resources.
  • Fluency in the local language - Polish or Czech - is a must have
  • English mandatory both verbal and written.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience.
  • Strong drive for results and achievement of targets.
  • Developed ability to make sound business judgements, set priorities, and earn respect of colleagues and external partners.
  • Very good at building strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for both internal and external communities.
  • Can effectively cope with change and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to respond rapidly and professionally to the demand of a high-pressure commercial environment.
  • Willing to work in a challenging and multicultural environment.
