Job Summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Facilities Systems & Data Analysis Staff III/IV. This position is responsible for partnering with customers, service providers, systems analysts, developers, and industry professionals to gather requirements and develop solutions for the Facilities Directorate. This position analyzes and translates business, customer, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve Facilities business objectives. This position provides technical guidance and leadership across multiple systems and service areas leading cross-functional technical teams to resolve critical, time-sensitive issues, and deliver technical solutions.
Work Model
This position will be a hybrid work model of 3+ days per week onsite, and balance of week remote, or as business conditions allow. This position is located at our El Segundo, CA campus location.
What You'll Be Doing

  • Designs and develops effective processes and procedures that allow for the effective tracking, reporting, and usage analysis of all assets throughout their life cycle.
  • Designs, develops, and establishes Facilities IT architectural approach and solutions; provides technical leadership in identifying and mitigating risk across the Facilities Property and IT service portfolios; performs analyses of alternative technical solutions.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements and solutions; conducts business and technical reviews to validate findings.
  • Documents current systems; develops recommendations on solutions, including the development of new system modules, to support business requirements.
  • Evaluates new technologies and leads cross organizational teams to analyze, select, and integrate these technologies with existing services.
  • Anticipates future compliance system needs and leads the development and deployment of practical solutions.
  • Optimizes system resources and system configurations; Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
  • Works closely with Facilities staff to develop system roadmaps and strategies that integrate across multiple service areas.


What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for the Facilities Systems & Data Analysis Staff III include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six or more years of relevant experience
  • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) and/or Certified Hardware Asset Manager Professional
  • Knowledge of technical standards, principles, and concepts with the ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems
  • Knowledge and experience with Service Now, Sunflower, SAP and/or similar applications, preferably in an administrator role


In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Facilities Systems & Data Analysis Staff IV include:

  • Ten or more years of relevant experience

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
