About the role :
We are hiring a Facilitator Consultant to support the
implementation of our Schools Program in the assigned district of Karnataka,
Shivamogga being the base location. This role will focus on effective session
delivery, supporting master trainers and teachers, facilitating student-led
innovation events like Ideathons and Hackathons, and supporting district-level
stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring experience in teaching,
strong facilitation and communication skills, and a deep understanding of
working with schools and education programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Timely and effective delivery
· Responsible for timely and effective program
delivery through the Master Trainer (MT) cascade model across the assigned
district, Shivamogga.
· Coordinate with the Program Coordinator,
Learning Experience Officer, and Master Trainers to plan and execute cascade
trainings at block and district levels.
· Be present and actively support in-person
trainings at block and district levels.
· Support Master Trainers and teachers to plan and
deliver Ideathon and Hackathon sessions with 8th-10th grade students across
Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) schools in
Shivamogga.
· Organise and co-facilitate school-level
Hackathons to engage and support students in identifying problem statements,
developing solutions, and building prototypes.
· Ensure and organise share-out events at the
district level for teachers and students to showcase their work.
· Conduct regular phone calls and school visits to
observe classroom engagement and provide on-ground support to Master Trainers
and teachers.
· Organise and facilitate bi-monthly catch-up
calls with Master Trainers to review post-training engagement, achievements,
challenges, and next steps.
2. Consistency in knowledge of work
· Build a strong understanding of the Schools
Program, Ideathon and Hackathon process, chatbot milestones, sector/module
content, and expected learning outcomes for 8th-10th grade students.
· Support Master Trainers and teachers in
understanding and implementing the content effectively across KREIS schools in
the assigned district, Shivamogga.
· Mentor and support Master Trainers and teachers
in the planning and execution of Ideathon and Hackathon activities with
students.
· Ensure chatbot content, milestones, and learning
activities are understood and completed correctly by Master Trainers, teachers,
and students.
· Identify learning gaps, best practices, and
implementation challenges related to content delivery and share them with the
program team for action.
· Report dashboard issues, chatbot glitches, and
technical challenges related to content or data, and follow up with the Ed-Tech
team for resolution.
3. Teamwork
· Work closely with the internal program team to
ensure smooth planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up across the
assigned district.
· Build strong working relationships with Master
Trainers, teachers, school heads, and students to support effective
implementation of the Schools Program.
· Act as the focal point for Master Trainers,
teachers, and school heads in assigned schools and keep them informed about
program progress, plans, timelines, and deliverables.
· Participate in program team meetings,
block-level and district-level reviews, and planning discussions as required.
· Design and facilitate CoP and WhatsApp
engagement plans to nudge, clarify doubts, and share reflections on Ideathon
and Hackathon content and process with Master Trainers and teachers.
· Facilitate and document quarterly Master Trainer
catch-ups with the District and DIET Department to share field updates,
implementation shifts, and impact.
4. Adherence to systems and processes
· Support the M&E team in implementing
monitoring tools as per the project framework.
· Maintain accurate data and documentation related
to cascade trainings, school visits, meetings, events, Master Trainer
engagement, teacher engagement, student engagement, chatbot completion, and
milestone progress.
· Compile field-level reports and data as per the
framework and submit them within agreed timelines.
· Regularly check dashboard data to ensure it is
updated, error-free, and aligned with M&E requirements.
· Provide regular written and verbal reports
tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules.
· Document and share best practices from schools
for monthly and quarterly reports.
· Support documentation of trainings, meetings,
school visits, events, Hackathons, share-out events, and review meetings.
· Support the coordination of baseline, endline,
and other assessments as required.
· Ensure adherence to organizational systems,
processes, timelines, reporting protocols, and finance, HR, travel,
procurement, and operational policies of Quest Alliance.
· Uphold the values and professional standards of
Quest Alliance while working with schools, government stakeholders, students,
teachers, Master Trainers, and internal teams.
5. Investment in self-learning
· Identify development needs based on role
requirements, review feedback, 360-degree feedback, and personal growth goals.
· Create a clear self-learning and development
goal for the year with timeline, mode of learning, and support required.
· Take ownership of tracking progress against
learning goals and completing agreed self-learning goals within the planned
timeline.
· Actively seek support, mentoring, and feedback
from the reporting manager, program team, and relevant internal stakeholders.
· Apply new learning to improve facilitation,
program delivery, stakeholder engagement, M&E quality, data management,
reporting, and field implementation.
Required Skills and Experience:
· 0–2 years’ experience in teaching, mentoring, or
education program delivery
· Proven experience working with schools and
government stakeholders
· Strong skills in facilitation, communication,
and report writing
· Willingness to travel frequently within the
assigned district
· Fluency in Kannada (spoken and written)
· Brownie Points: Prior exposure to or interest in
STEM mindset, computational thinking or critical thinking approaches in
education
Salary:
The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 25,000/- per month (cost to
company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and
expertise of the candidate)
Contract
Duration: Fixed-term contract for 11 months, from May 2026 to March 2027.
