FAC OPS SR MGR

Job Summary: The Facility M2 position is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. This role involves planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs. The Facility M2 will design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department and oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion. The role may also include responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards and selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
• Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
• Design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
• Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion.
• Establish and oversee health and safety standards.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Manage the Engineering, Design, Planning, and Construction Teams for a semiconductor manufacturing facility, including R&D applications.
• Oversee and coordinate all engineering disciplines, design, and construction activities for semiconductor tool installs, remodels, and site facility infrastructures, including R&D applications.
• Develop and ensure execution of department objectives, financial budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing expenditures, including all budgets and schedules for facility modifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable outside agency requirements.
• Facilitate global site interaction and alignment.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and inspection of buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Oversee skilled trade work such as carpentry and painting.
• Supervise construction, repair, or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs, or office fixtures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility management, including design, planning, construction, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimation for facility modifications.
• Experience in developing organizational policies and overseeing building space allocation and layout.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage and develop personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Experience in managing engineering, design, planning, and construction teams for semiconductor manufacturing facilities, including R&D applications.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills for overseeing engineering disciplines and construction activities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for global site interaction and alignment.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and inspection of buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to oversee skilled trade work and supervise construction, repair, or alteration of structures.
