SUMMARY: The Fabricator welds metal components together and fabricates and/or repairs equipment according to layouts, blueprints and/or work orders using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Weld metal components together
- Fabricate or repair according to layouts, blueprints and/or work orders
- Uses brazing and/or varieties of arc and gas welding equipment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3 years of experience in welding fabrication
- Valid state issued driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Preferred
- Trade school/technical school welding certification highly preferred
