Scope of Work:
Provide leadership to the Fabrication team in all phases of fabrication and overhauling. Supervise project in the absence of a Leaderman or Foreman.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Hands on technician / fabricator. Required to perform all non-specialty tasks associated with fabrication. Tasks include ability to align engine / compressor, install compressor cylinders, vessels, install screwed pipe and mount ancillary equipment
· Troubleshoot compressor related problems
· Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Waukesha and other engine manufacturers
· Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Compressor Manufacturers
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have 5 year(s) previous experience
- Must High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have knowledge of Waukesha Engines or other natural gas engines
- Must have knowledge of natural gas compressors
- Must be able to read P&IDs, General Arrangement and Skid Drawings
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have the ability to effectively operate test equipment and have good troubleshooting skills
- Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others
- Must have good communication skills and good record keeping skills
