Fabrication Tech Class A (ED-216) (3670)

Scope of Work:

Fabricate and assemble engine/compressor and generators packages to meet WPI packaging Standards. Overhaul Compressor frames and cylinders.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Overhaul various compressor frames and cylinders
• Set and align coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities, install safety shutdowns, align engine to compressor
• Follow daily instructions from Foreman or Leaderman
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 2-4 year(s) previous experience
• Must High School Diploma or equivalent
• Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Waukesha and other engine manufacturers
• Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Compressor Manufacturers
• Must be able to read P&IDs, General Arrangement and Skid Drawings
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

· Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift

· Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
