Position Overview
Hunter Douglas is currently seeking a Fabric Order Puller for our Salt Lake City, UT facility. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Fabric puller plays a key role in maintaining distribution of product to the production team by pulling orders of fabric rolls and distributing them to the appropriate cutting tables. Day Shift Schedule runs Monday - Thursday from 5:00am to 3:00pm with Overtime required as needed some Fridays and Saturdays
What you'll do
- With the use of an RF Scanner, fabric order puller will pull the correct rolls of fabric from varying locations onto transporting carts
- Fabric Order Puller must be comfortable walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50lbs consistently throughout a 10 hour shift
- Will use PPE and lifting equipment designated to aid in the lifting of the rolls
- Once cuts have been made to the fabric material, the Fabric Order Puller will be responsible for putting away remaining materials
Who you are
- Have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role, warehouse environment
- Ideal candidate will have the ability to work well in a team or individually
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changes in priorities
- Ability to lift between 20-75lbs
- Must be comfortable asking for help as needed
- Have excellent communication skills: Read, write, speak English
