Job Description:Fab Manufacturing Quality Engineer
As a Fab Manufacturing Quality Engineer in the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) you will collaborate with all engineering teams at our Fort Collins facility to sustain, control, evaluate, design, implement and improve quality procedures, systems and tools. This role will have a strong involvement on fab wide systems that impact the way quality is managed and will require a high level of ownership and leadership to drive our fab mission. It is essential to be able to stay goal oriented at all times, adjust quickly to new challenges and to work as a team to ensure safety and quality.
Specific Objectives and Responsibilities:
Sustain and implement our current business process for quality management, while driving organizational accountability to policies and standards
Identify and drive opportunities for improvement and simplification in our quality systems to have a higher impact on our bottom line metrics without compromising safety and quality
Develop SPC standardization methods and data mining tools to aid engineering teams with evaluation of manufacturing changes
Review and validate risk mitigation plans proposed for fab changes and non-conformances using FMEA’s and similar methods.
Lead weekly Quality meetings and assist others that are working on process changes or non-conforming deviation events
Use or provide problem solving techniques to support engineering teams with new challenges.
Identify training needs for quality concepts and quality tools for all groups, and work with the training team to generate training
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with multiple teams in semiconductor manufacturing and individuals in various roles
Ability to lead meetings efficiently and collaboratively
Effective at clearly defining project goals, managing priorities and communicating changes to the organization.
Able to manage with professionalism and flexibility unexpected manufacturing challenges
Wide-ranging technical expertise and leadership. Understands semiconductor fab processes, statistical process control, regulatory requirements, and effective use of standards and audits
Data driven and detailed oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to build scripts as tools for data analysis and mining
Requirements:
BS in Engineering and 12+ years of related experience in a quality or manufacturing engineering role. Masters or PhD Degree and 6+ years of related experience, preferred
Experience with use and implementation of statistical control systems, problem solving techniques, FMEA and data mining tools development.
Familiar with JMP, Klarity, FDC, Confluence, Spotfire, SPC and modern fab quality and knowledge control systems.
Ability to code in JMP/SAS, Python, VBS or other computer languages preferred
Quality certifications SixSigma, CQE and CMQ/OE preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $172,800
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
