Organization / Department Description:
The NXP Global Lab Operations (GLO) team are responsible for enabling Reliability test and Failure Analysis at Product Diagnostic & Quality Centers (PDQC). The PDQC Reliability and Failure Analysis Labs are located in Austin (Texas, USA), Bangkok (Thailand), Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Nijmegen (The Netherlands), and Tianjin (China). Our Team involves in the new Technology introduction and new Product introduction in NXP. We designs Reliability and FA hardware as well as software application for the lab.
Your Responsibilities:
As a software engineer, you will
- Develop software tools that will be used by NXP failure analysis engineers across the world,
- Discuss and understand requirements and workflows used by failure analysis engineers to improve the user experience of software tools,
- Gain experience in developing software that integrates with electrical engineering lab tools and flows.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience with Java and Python
- Experience with GIT
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in failure analysis is an asset
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Strong relational-skills with intercultural awareness
- Ability to work under a strict confidentiality regime
- Multi-disciplinary and analytical, explorative and open minded
