Pratt & Whitney has an excellent opportunity within the ME F135 Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization for a Military Engines Finance Manager to support the F135 Development Program.

The position will be an onsite opportunity based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

What You Will Do:

Our Senior Manager is responsible for providing an array of financial services in support of F135 Development Contracts with the United States Government (USG).  

Job responsibilities entail financial analysis supporting contract performance, funding analysis to support program execution, optimization of Sales, Margin, Cash deliverables, and evaluating metrics to ensure contract compliance, amongst other things.

Job Responsibilities include:

Contract Performance - be a Change Agent and a Business Advisor regarding financial performance of Development Contracts – do not just count the numbers but help deliver financial results by proactive involvement in the Program

Financial Performance – help drive monthly, quarterly, annual deliverables involving Sales, Margin, and Cash including variance analysis that ensure complete, accurate, and reliable results

Risk and Opportunities – understand contract requirements and financial implications by exercising due diligence, astute analysis, and collaboration with organizational resources until opportunities have been realized and/ or risk mitigation is in place

Financial controls and compliance – be a steward of Program resources and assets and ensure results are achieved in an ethical and compliant manner consistent with Contract terms & conditions and RTX/ P&W/ ME policy and procedure

Ad-hoc Requests - timely follow-up and disposition of various USG, FP&A, Internal / External Audit, RTX and other company requests of financial data

CORE - proactively leverage tools & initiatives, technology, process improvement, etc. to support F135 Program Management Office (PMO) and F135 Finance (PFS) deliverables.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an Advanced degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
