Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting necessary reviews, analysis of the client’s supply chain processes and consulting with the client and project team to ensure the project’s success.
  • Provide expertise in these Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O functions: sales and marketing, procurement and sourcing, inventory and warehouse management, master planning, product and information management, production control, quality control, human resources, advanced warehouse management, transportation management, data migration framework, DevOps.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O application and evaluates the customer’s business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
  • Demonstrate and enhance supply chain management concepts and research techniques, to exercise discretion and make judgments on how to configure the system.
  • Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes.
  • Collaborate, manage and lead meetings with functional/technical consultants and client/end-users.
  • Supports the Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O application to achieve the customer’s business requirements.
  • Facilitate the customer’s decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process (if modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application).
  • Responsible for conducting user acceptance testing and train customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O application.
  • Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant for our customers or the company’s services.
  • Comfortable working within a structured project management framework and familiar with all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure). Able to collaborate effectively with project managers to ensure successful delivery of assigned workstreams.
  • Ensure that the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability and documentation.
  • Ensure timesheets are entered and processed accurately and responsible for invoicing in relation to projects.
  • Work with project managers and team leaders to cater for resource changes across projects.
  • Assist with any other necessary task as required.
  • Production support as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience as a Supply Chain Management Consultant, with full ERP project implementation experience.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems using Manufacturing or Trade/Logistics modules.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O, including setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of solutions, as well as the development of functional specifications for enhancements and integrations, following best practices or Microsoft Sure Step methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal relations and teamwork orientation.
  • Strong English and French business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading large complex technology projects.
  • Business intelligence understanding including Reporting and Analytics.
  • Possess a deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers.
