With the coolest terrace right by the IJ, when the summer is full of sun and fun, and when the winter chill sets in, we transform into a cozy, winter stay-away. So are you passionate about hospitality and creating a positive impact for all our Vessel guests? Then join us for a year-round adventure and make each season unforgettable!

Vessel is the perfect hangout in Amsterdam to escape the hectic city buzz. Have a coffee, sip a cocktail, get some work done or sit back and relax. It’s all good. We are even ready for small and big events, as Vessel is a part of hotel The July BOAT&CO.

The internship

As an F&B Management Intern, you team up with the Restaurant Manager to keep the restaurant running smoothly every day. You don’t just watch from the sidelines you dive right into the action and get hands-on experience in all areas of hospitality.

Still with us? Nice. Let’s walk you through a day in your internship. You kick things off with a cappuccino made by your colleague behind the bar while checking the day’s reservations and events. Once the team is aligned, you open your laptop and start working on fresh ideas for Vessel.

You brainstorm with the Restaurant Manager on new concepts and improvements, while also being on the floor to welcome and interact with guests. You know how to approach them in a warm, professional way, whether it’s chatting with regulars, recommending local activities, or making sure every guest leaves with a smile.

Passionate about hospitality, you combine creativity with hands-on service, always ready to jump in and deliver the best possible guest experience.
