Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced F-16 Operations Suitability Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an F-16 Operations Suitability Analyst, you will play a vital role in the development and enhancement of the F-16 aircraft, ensuring its optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will assist the F-16 OFP CTF at Eglin AFB, FL as part of a highly skilled integrated product team to develop and test new Radar, datalinks, advanced sensors, and advanced weapon combat capabilities for the F-16CM.
As an F-16 Operations Suitability Analyst, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Provide support to Program Engineers and Test Engineers during test planning, execution, and reporting phases of each OFP CTF developmental and operational test.
Apply advanced mathematical techniques and procedures to develop and meticulously analyze statistical and probabilistic data sets.
Define and establish clear data requirements to accurately evaluate the reliability and maintainability aspects of complex test programs.
Provide critical support for the development of test plans, subsequent reporting, and official recommendations by managing all phases of data planning, management, and analysis.
Identify, observe, and formally evaluate all maintenance events that are applicable to ongoing or planned tests.
Develop and implement effective questionnaires for targeted data collection efforts.
Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, including its collection, reduction, entry into databases, rigorous validation, and comprehensive analysis.
Lead and conduct thorough table-top reviews of preliminary technical orders (T.O.) to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Draft, review, and process official Air Force Technical Order (AFTO) Form 22 (T.O. Change Form) and AFTO Form 27 (Preliminary T.O. Change Form) documents.
Job Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 3-10 years of experience in an engineering or operations suitability analyst capacity is required. Six additional years of applicable technical experience may be substituted for the BS Degree (total 9 years) or four additional years' experience with an Associate's Degree (total 7 years).
Experience in test design, data collection, data analysis and creating test plans/reports for fighter flight test programs.
Experience in tracking, reporting and reviewing hardware and software failures for advanced aircraft systems.
Experience in reviewing new technical orders and submitting changes to correct document errors.
Knowledge of flight line F-16 avionics/weapons development systems, and practical system experience.
Experience in test planning, test execution and test reporting for flight test programs is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel is required. Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an integrated test team.
Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills to provide maintenance
Active Secret clearance (within 5 years), must be able to maintain current clearance throughout employment tenure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Self-motivated expert able to take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, and executing necessary tasks leading to the successful accomplishment of assigned duties.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an integrated test team.
Experience applying statistical and probabilistic methods to analyze complex datasets.
Experience in efficiently conveying maintenance information to system engineers and pilots.
