J&J is on a mission to centralize customer and external partner identity for our millions of users consuming services worldwide. The External Identity and Access Management (xIAM) team's goal is to improve users' experience by creating a single universal directory and primary ID that secures our customers and J&J systems.
The External Identity Product Analyst will draft and refine requirements in the external customer identity backlog, facilitating refinement ceremonies, and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with the Product Owners across our suite of identity products. In addition to these responsibilities, they will support the adoption and integration of our platform for local applications in North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and East Asia (EMEA) regions.
The person will establish relationships with regional business and technology leaders to identify sector and country specific requirements.
They will help define adoption and feature roadmaps and collaborate with other Product Owners to influence the development of these features.
This person will also act as the key xIAM team contact for the regional ISRM Business Information Security Officer (BIS) organization, partnering to improve the xIAM intake process and provide detailed guidance on customer identity related concerns and best practices.
A successful candidate will be an experienced Product Analyst, confident with managing a backlog and leading agile ceremonies. A preferred candidate would have a background in Security and / or Identity.
Responsibilities:
Manage product backlogs via creation, refinement, and sizing of stories and related acceptance criteria
Partner with Product Owners to review features, application requests, and platform design to influence our product backlog
Relationship management across NA, EMEA and LATAM business technology leaders, defining adoption and feature roadmap timelines to drive xIAM use in region.
Facilitate Agile refinement ceremonies and act as backup for Scrum Master as needed
Partner across ISRM to define and influence security standards, application details, and intake flow process changes to better represent the identity challenges of the region.
Perform demos to partners of new Okta/Auth0 features or xIAM developed custom features.
Continue to train on the Okta and Auth0 platforms to expand product knowledge.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the information security or information technology sector
Demonstrated ability in Product Management or requirements gathering
Demonstrable experience drafting and refining agile stories and acceptance criteria in the Gherkin format
Experience managing a product backlog in JIRA
Experience partnering with enterprise leaders and representatives
Hands on experience defining and implementing product roadmaps
Basic knowledge of IAM principles, protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security standard processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a distributed team
Knowledge of artificial intelligence and hands-on experience using generative AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, and product outcomes
Strong problem-solving skills
Fluent/Very Proficient in English

Project experience with Okta, Auth0, or other customer identity solutions (Azure B2C, EntraID, Forgerock, etc)
