Position Summary

Qnity is seeking an External Communications Specialist to help strengthen our brand, drive engagement, and tell the stories behind our people, culture, innovations, and industry impact. This role will support social media, media relations, digital communications, and brand initiatives while partnering with stakeholders across the business to amplify Qnity's voice and reputation.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and grow Qnity's social media presence, creating engaging content across key channels.

  • Develop and distribute press releases, media materials, and external communications through PR wire services.

  • Support media relations efforts by building relationships and promoting Qnity stories to targeted outlets.

  • Maintain website and digital communications content to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Track communications performance and provide insights to strengthen engagement and impact.

  • Help protect and promote the Qnity brand across communications channels and initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or social media.

  • Experience distributing news releases through Business Wire, PR Newswire, or similar PR distribution services.

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.

  • Experience creating content such as press releases, articles, media advisories, executive communications, and social media content.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of AP Style.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing global social media platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, and WeChat.

  • Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools.

  • Experience with website content management and digital communications.

  • Experience supporting corporate branding, reputation management, or employee advocacy programs.

  • Experience in a technology, manufacturing, industrial, or semiconductor environment.
