Export Manager / International Sales Manager

The purpose of this role is to build and implement Fiskars strategy on the defined Export markets. You will be operating with Fiskars and Gerber brands, increasing awareness for Fiskars brands internationally. Your main tasks are to build sustainable growth by building our business with existing customers, as well as opening new distribution to our brands and iconic products.

The location of this role is Fiskars Campus in Keilaniemi, Espoo and report to Director, Export Sales.

Hybrid working model available.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Managing Export business within own responsibility area.
  • Current focus areas are Eastern Europe, Balkans and number of international customers.
  • Building trust and deep cooperation with chosen strategic Customers (Joint Business Planning).
  • Preparing sales strategies, data search.
  • Initiate and coordinate sales and marketing activities.
  • Adjusting and coordinating marketing materials, pricelists, presentations and product training for your Customers.
  • Executing agreed customer plans and follow-up agreed activities.
  • Collect and input sales forecasts in to the system; monitor sales volume, revenues, costs, invoicing and receivables against forecasts.
  • Budgeting.
  • Maintain customer data in database effectively.
  • Weekly and Monthly reporting to management, provide customer feedback, and information on competitors activity.
  • Participation in trade shows.
  • Coordinate from a side orders, deliveries and follow up documentation flow.
  • Total customer management from day-to-day operations to annual negotiations.

For succeeding in this position, you should ideally have:

  • B.Sc in economics or equal education as minimum.
  • Minimum 3 years sales/trade-marketing experience, preferably in an international environment.
  • Export sales/customer service experience is a plus.
  • Proven track-record.
  • Positive attitude and dynamic approach to sales.
  • High level skills with MS office programs (Outlook, Power Point, Excel).
  • Fluency in English, other language skills seen as benefit.
  • Good level of negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • High level of cross-functional teamwork.
  • Willingness & ability to travel about 30% of working time.

You are an outspoken person who gets along with different personalities. Your way of working is structured and respects agreed timings. You have ability to manage multiple projects with different types of customers, environment, cultures, brands and categories at the same time. You have skills to understand customer needs and tailor our offering to support customers business.

You will be supported with Export Sales team colleagues, as well as Sales Planner, Customer Service Specialists, Marketing Activation Managers and other colleagues in matrix to let you focus on your main tasks.
