Export & Agency Finance – VP/SVP, Brazil & Caribbean, Americas Export & Agency Finance, Sao Paulo
Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is an award-winning, market-leading provider of cash management, cards, and trade solutions for financial institutions, public sector, and corporate clients globally. With an extensive network spanning over 100 countries, TTS is uniquely positioned to serve clients with local and cross-border interests, providing integrated reporting and management.
TTS is a highly innovative organization with a strong digital agenda, continually developing new products and services to meet evolving treasury requirements and unlock new growth opportunities. We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage portfolios, financial positions, working capital, and supply chains. A key division within TTS is the Export & Agency Finance ("EAF") team.
EAF specializes in structuring short, medium, and long-term financings with the support of Official Agencies, including Export Credit Agencies ("ECAs"), Development Finance Institutions ("DFIs"), and Multilateral Development Banks ("MDBs"). These financings cater to Citi's Banking and Commercial Banking client base. EAF operates as a global platform, capable of structuring, arranging, underwriting, syndicating, and lending under bespoke debt financings. These financings defease risk through credit and political risk support from Official Agencies and/or leverage their funding, lending, or interest support programs.
EAF is currently executing a growth plan aimed at significantly increasing transaction origination and execution annually. To support this expansion, EAF is expanding its Americas team, responsible for all aspects of loan origination, structuring, and arranging services for clients across Brazil and the Caribbean region. This role is for a Vice President/Senior Vice President level candidate, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will report directly to the EAF Director for Latin America, based in New York.
Citi maintains a robust presence in the Americas region through on-the-ground operations (Santiago and Sao Paulo) and its regional hub (New York). EAF seeks to leverage this extensive network to support its growth agenda.

- Assume full responsibility for the development of the EAF business across allocated markets in Brazil & the Caribbean ("BraCa"), serving both Banking and Corporate & Commercial Banking (CCB) clients.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for EAF business growth in BraCa, ensuring the achievement of financial, capital, risk, talent, technology, and operational objectives.

- Contribute as a transactor and drive strategy for EAF Americas growth initiatives.
