Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to guests, maintaining Max Burger West Hartford Kitchen’s standards for presentation and quality.

  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to relay order specifics and special requests.

  • Inspect all plates leaving the kitchen for proper garnishes, presentation, and accuracy.

  • Maintain a clean and organized expo line and surrounding service area.

  • Assist service staff by running food, clearing tables, or resetting as needed to keep the flow of service smooth.

  • Contribute to the overall guest experience by supporting a fast, polished, and professional dining atmosphere.


Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

  • Experience in upscale or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
  • Previous back-of-house or food running experience is also preferred, particularly in refined or contemporary dining settings.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Organized and efficient, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accurate orders, flawless presentation, and proper timing.
  • Clear communicator, able to effectively connect the kitchen and service teams.
  • Able to stay focused and professional in a busy, high-energy setting.
  • Team-oriented with a drive to support seamless service.
  • Physically able to stand for long shifts and carry trays or plates as needed.
  • Calm, focused, and dependable, especially during peak hours.
