Position Summary
The Senior Frontend Engineer is responsible for working with the Product and Engineering teams to build web-based user experiences to support the Ingage Suite. You enjoy working in a structured but fast moving environment. You thrive on working with other Software Engineers and Product Managers to solve complex problems. You are a curious, life-long learner and relish the opportunity to explore and pitch new technologies to solve unique problems. You have a core understanding of what it takes to deliver high quality software. You are not afraid to make strong commitments and go the extra mile to meet those commitments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of our services across our entire software stack.

You Will

  • Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
  • Architect and provide guidance on building web applications optimized for speed and scale
  • Engage and collaborate with inspiring designers and frontend engineers to create reliable, performant and responsive web applications
  • Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub Pull Requests, documents, and videoconferences
  • Work across our core frontend software stack in TypeScript and ReactJS


Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years software development experience in a SaaS environment
  • Experience building media heavy web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript
  • Experience working with cutting edge and advanced web technologies like Personal Web Apps (PWA) and building online/offline applications using the Origin Private File System (OPFS)
  • Experience working with reference designs from Sketch or Figma
  • Strong foundation in UI development, including UI toolkits, interactive UI elements, and animation
  • Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and development methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Programming Experience

  • Vue.js
  • Web Assembly (WASM)
  • Electron
  • Cross Platform Mobile Development (React Native or Flutter)
