Expert Software Engineer

Position Summary

We’re seeking highly motivated and experienced Expert Software Engineers to develop embedded solutions in automotive vision based projects (i.e. autonomous driving systems, driving monitoring systems) for premium European car manufacturers.

Vision solutions are the future of the automotive industry, which determines both the comfort, functionality and safety of road users. You can meet them every day on the road, and in this position you can also have a real influence on their direction of development.

In this role, you will be able to learn and shape new technologies in various projects, working with the best suppliers, tools and the most demanding standards in the industry.

Your Role:

• Implementation of correct and highly reusable embedded software features using C and C++ .

• Development and verification of embedded software in vision based projects (DMS)

• Managing the process of creating documentation, design and applied technical solutions within the team/domain

• Learn to follow existing AS&UX standards in SW development process:

• Collecting and analysing Software requirements,

• Preparing Software design documentation,

• Programming Software modules,

• Preparing and performing tests to verify Software work products.

• Software testing according to ASPICE processes

• Active participation in trainings to improve professional skills.

• Co-operation with local and remote AS&UX teams.

• Work under supervision according to given instructions and project guidelines.

• On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and Technical Center in Kraków

Major Requirements:

• MSc or Bachelor degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related

• Knowledge of C++ programming language

• 3+ years of experience writing software using C++

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Automotive SPICE, SPICE or other software development process is a plus

• Experience with Polarion is a plus

• Experience in Automotive and/or aviation industry is a plus

• Familiarity with programming micro controllers and processors and supporting tools

• Ability to speak, to read and to write English

• Ability and previous experience in proposing technical solutions

• Maturity and ability to work independently
