Expert Software Engineer, Altera Digital Health Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and report electronically to the Raleigh, NC headquarters. Perform specification, design, coding, testing, and documentation at an expert level in the areas of healthcare software development and maintenance. Take ownership of assigned software and non-software deliverables. Liaise with Business Analysts or internal/external customers to ensure that requirements are understood. Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the required level of detail in the timescales as defined by the Project Manager. Perform production, preparation, and execution of unit test plans and provide efficient and fully documented code. Produce technical and installation support documentation for internal and external publication. Achieve agreed productivity targets in order to ensure developments are delivered within budget and schedule, and to defined quality standards. Complete all necessary software and non-software components in the timelines as defined by the Project Manager. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires seven (7) years of healthcare software engineering experience to include six (6) years with: object-oriented programming; ASP .NET MVC, ASP .NET MVC CORE, and C#; five (5) years: .Net Framework and .Net Core Framework; Rest API, WCF, Queue and SOAP Services; Relational Database; four (4) years: Active Directory Federation Services; Angular; HTML/CSS; Javascript, Jquery, and TypeScript; Nunit Testing; three (3) years: Cloud Technologies (Azure); Service-Now; and two (2) years: Version Controls (GIT and TFS); Entity Framework.
