Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.

The Team and Role:
Position within the Logitech CDS (CAE, Design and Simulation) team.
Part of Hardware Engineering, the CDS team is Logitech's center of excellence for FEA and CFD. We develop the simulation methods, tools, and standards used to predict product performance before manufacturing. As a shared engineering resource, we partner with product teams from concept through mass production to de-risk designs and guide decisions on materials, geometry, and architecture, helping prevent costly late-stage structural and thermal surprises.
This role supports two business units: Personal Workspace Solutions (PWS)—covering video products (including webcams) mice, keyboards, and presentation tools—and Gaming. You will split your simulation focus across both areas, addressing compact, high-performance hardware that pushes thermal and structural limits.

As an Expert Thermal-Mechanical Engineer, you will lead thermal and structural simulations from concept through validation. You will work closely with electrical engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing to influence product architecture, while collaborating with external partners and suppliers on materials, component validation, and manufacturability to deliver high-quality, user-centered products.

Your Contribution:
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. Share our passion for Equality and the Environment. These are the behaviors and values you'll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:
•    Lead thermal and structural solutions for consumer electronics with complex integration requirements.
•    Own end-to-end thermal design from concept and simulation to validation and production.
•    Conduct thermal and thermo-mechanical simulations using Ansys CFD Enterprise (preferred), Cadence Fidelis, or Siemens Simcenter FLOEFD.
•    Analyze performance and propose design optimizations based on experimental and simulation data.
•    Contribute to thermal and mechanical architecture strategies for PWS and Gaming product roadmaps.
•    Conduct structural simulations using LS-DYNA (preferred) or Ansys to validate mechanical designs before tooling.
•    Support mechanical design work, including 3D modeling, tolerance analysis, and structural components.
•    Collaborate with multi-site cross-functional teams (ME, EE, ID, FW, NPI) to ensure robust integration.
•    Partner with external suppliers, factories, and design partners to evaluate materials, drive manufacturing feasibility, and meet cost, schedule, and customer requirements.

Key Qualifications:
To join our team, you must meet the following requirements:
•    8+ years of thermal engineering experience, specifically in consumer electronics or computing.
•    Deep knowledge of heat transfer principles and cooling strategies (passive & active).
•    Proficiency in thermal analysis, experimental setups, data acquisition, and reporting.
•    Hands-on simulation experience with Ansys CFD Enterprise, Fidelis, Simcenter FLOEFD, or equivalent.
•    Structural simulation experience using LS-DYNA and Ansys, or equivalent.
•    Capability to design, execute, and analyze thermal testing experiments.
•    Mechanical design skills (Creo or SolidWorks) with enclosure or heat sink integration experience.
•    Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrixed environment.
•    Fluency in written and verbal English.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience designing high-power density or compact systems (e.g., webcams, cameras, gaming peripherals).
